Houthi terrorism directed at Yemenis... Documented crimes and victims awaiting justice

الأربعاء 17 مايو 2023 الساعة 06 صباحاً / alislah-ye.net – Exclusive

Raiding homes, looting furniture, and expelling women and children... In this way, the Houthi militia took revenge early last week on the family of citizen Ibrahim Shuwayter from the Al-Haymah Al-Dakhiliyah Directorate (The internal Haymah) in Sana'a Governorate, amid the militia's continuous violations against civilians in its areas of control.

According to human rights sources, the Houthi's revenge against the Shuwayter family came against the background of killing the Houthi supervisor, Hussein Ahmed Rajih Jamil at the hand of al-Shuwayter, following clashes that took place between them after the Houthi attempt to bury the well owned by Showaiter and seize it by force of arms.

The sources confirmed that the Houthi militia, led by the two supervisors, Hamid al-Khawlani and Ibrahim Jamil, raided and looted the homes of Shuwayter's relatives in his village, Beit Shuwayter, in the Bani Muhallal district, for no crime he committed except that he defended his right, where the militia looted the furniture of Ibrahim's house and the homes of his four brothers, after storming them by force of arms.

Citizen Shuwayter had been subjected to great harassment by the Houthi leader, who had put him in prison affiliated with the militia in the area, which made him compelled to defend his property and money, which the Houthi was seeking to acquire with the support of the militia, which saw this leader as a hero no one has the right to stop him or stand in his way.

Citizens' interventions aimed at preventing the Houthi militia did not succeed in closing and looting the homes of the Shuwayter family, and expelling children and women from them into the open. This incident has caused widespread resentment among the citizens, especially since the children and women of these families now live in one of the mountain paths adjacent to the village without any necessities for life, according to the sources.

Addiction to torture and love of revenge:

This Houthi crime committed against the Al-Shuwayter and his family came in conjunction with the Houthi militia burning shops belonging to the citizen Ibrahim Al-Thumani, who was killed by Houthi elements in the Al-Ja'malah area of the Sahar Directorate in Saada Governorate.

The militia not only killed the al-Thumani merchant but also burned and destroyed his shops after abducting him in late December from the Al-Talh area in the city of Saada. He was tortured to death, in one of the most serious crimes committed by the militia against civilians in areas under its control over the past years.

Here, it should be noted that this Houthi crime came after a similar crime, when the Houthi militia killed the citizen Yahya Hamoush, the owner of a farm in the Majaz Directorate of Saada Governorate, in early January, where Hamoush was severely beaten to death by a Houthi leader called Ali Sayla and his members.

According to human rights sources, the Houthi leader and his members stormed Hamoush farm and uprooted pomegranate trees from it before his eyes. He tried to beg them to back off from storming the farm and uprooting the pomegranate trees, but they refused. At that point, Hamoush took out his mobile phone to document their crime and present it to the public, so they beat him with rifle butts in front of his family until he died.

The action taken by the militia against al-Thumani and Hamoush in Saada and al-Shuwayter in Sana’a is nothing but a clear expression and mini-intensification of the state of this militia and its sick psyche, which is addicted to torture, revenge, and striking the values of coexistence among Yemenis through its sectarian approach and dynastic hatred against all those who oppose its ideology and approach.

Houthi fears:

The Houthi fears are due to the presence of resistance to its expansionist project in the areas under its control. The reaction has been shown by Ibrahim Shuwayter and other citizens is the thing that scares the Houthi militia from expanding and serving as a harbinger of the outbreak of a popular revolution in which every citizen is forced to defend himself and defend his money and land, especially with the continuous Houthi campaigns to loot and confiscate citizens' money under various pretexts.

The action taken by the citizen Shuwayter is a form of popular resistance against the Houthi militia, which is increasing day by day, in response to the militia's continued violations against citizens and their property in the areas under its control.

The severity of the tension spread in the areas controlled by the Houthi militia has expanded as a result of the actions of this terrorist militia, which has created a state of popular discontent rejecting these practices since the coup carried out by the militia against the state in September 2014, where the Houthi gang is aware of the violations it has caused against citizens. Therefore, as in the case of Al-Shuwaiter, she seeks revenge for any practices that would obstruct her project, even if it was personal.

The terrorist Houthi militia has adopted violence as a means to control, subjugate and humiliate society so that they do not stage a revolution against it or demand that it perform its social function as a de facto authority. The militia believes that the violence it is practicing against civilians will protect its authority from any possible popular uprising, without knowing that this violence is what creates the counter-violence that resists these violations.

Violations raise the morale of the resistance:

As happened to the family of Ibrahim Al-Shuwaiter, the excessive violence practiced by the Houthi militia against the opposition confirms that the militia aims to get rid of any tendency of non-consistence or lack of loyalty to the terrorist militia, with the aim of learning from the past, instilling fear in people's hearts, and breaking the morale of the opponents in areas under its control, and thwarting their desire to ignite an uprising against it, even if it was a victory for honor or money, as in the case of al-Shuwaiter.

Observers believe that exposing the Houthi crimes requires raising the morale of the resistance in the hearts of the people and convincing them that the idea of getting rid of this crime and terrorism is not by trying to coexist with it in humiliation, but rather by resisting and rejecting it by all means and means.

These observers confirm that the Houthi terrorist militia fears an uprising from within as much as it fears defeat from without, so it gives absolute priority to destroying and defeating it wherever it appears. And according to its allegations of the most heinous criminal practices, in order to learn from the past.

Observers point out that the Houthi militia wants power and money, and to seize power and wealth by practicing the most heinous means of humiliation and criminality against the people, where it derives its actions from the outrageous Iranian experience in criminality. Believing that humiliation, outrageous repression, and that the commission of all crimes are the basic and perhaps the only guarantee for the stability of its rule and terror.

Human rights condemnations are not enough:

Despite the continuous human rights statements condemning the Houthi violations against citizens in the areas under its control, it is certain that the Houthi militia does not care about these statements and the appeals of the international community, the Security Council, and the UN envoy. Whoever believes that Houthi terrorism cares about the international condemnation and pressure to stop its crimes is completely wrong, where the militia does not see in these statements and condemnations any threat in exchange for the smallest Yemeni group of those who refuse humiliation and coexistence with Houthi terrorism, as is the case of Shuwayter in Sana'a and the person called al-Mukahal in the city of Ibb.

Therefore, the militia is taking revenge on those who have a hostile attitude against it or a possible rejection of its policy, with the aim of carrying out aggressive practices targeting women and children, in an attempt to suppress, humiliate and terrorize any opposition to it in the areas under its control, in order to achieve what it claims is an imaginary victory against civilians.

Whereas, any presence of those who oppose it in the areas it occupies and are still ready to defend their land and homeland, as Al-Shuwayter did, the Houthi militia considers it a terrible defeat according to the standards of this racist fascist militia, so it is quick to take revenge on any family, including women and children.

As a result of every aggressive and exclusionary terrorist behavior with dynasty racist motives that characterize the Houthi militia, it is difficult to coexist with it under any name because it cannot abandon its aggressive motives against others as purely instinctive behavior, as this militia will continue to create crises and try to subdue society and subject it to a method of governance. Abnormal and immoral, especially since it believes that power and wealth are its own property according to what it believes are divine directives, and she believes that ruling, plundering, and killing others is a matter of devotion and jihad in defense of her own property, as it claims.

Protecting human dignity:

With the violations committed by the Houthi militia against civilians in its areas of control, what the violated Yemeni people are waiting for under the militia's authority has become to work and withdraw the country with its population from under the oldest and dirtiest mercenary terrorist militia known in the history of terrorism and crime, according to Yemeni journalist Sami Numan.

The successive events, since the start of the war it waged against the state in 2004 to the present day, have revealed that the crimes of the Houthi militia committed against the Yemenis have not and will not end with mere appeals to the United Nations or condemnations, no matter how high their tone and the size of the party that launched them, even if they reached the highest authority in the world as long as the Houthi continues to rule an inch of the homeland.

Yemenis are now waiting only for action and a result in confronting Houthi terrorism, and withdrawing the tools of power represented in institutions, communications, and sources of financing and enrichment from under its authority, coinciding with withdrawing the country with its population through a military battle aimed primarily at protecting human dignity from Houthi brutality based on the accumulation of rich Iranian experience.

It is certain that every citizen in the areas controlled by the Houthi militia is waiting for the moment of salvation from this fascism. And when that moment came, the ground would become tight for that militia. At that time, the lie of the popular incubator, behind which the Houthi militia hides, will become clear to hide its weakness, impotence, and constant anxiety from society. Therefore, it insists on putting down any movement that impedes its project, even if it is personal, as is the case of "Ibrahim Shuwayter", for fear that this movement will expand and act as sparks that ignite the fire that will devour the militia coming from the darkness of caves and the dustbins of history.
