In the morning of the great city of Taiz, grief and pain caused by the brutal assassination of the International Red Cross staff member Hanna Lahoud, a Lebanese citizen, who died immediately after being shot directly at him, the Yemeni Islah Party in Taiz condemned brutal crime, which appears on its face the assassination of IRC staff member, in its interior it targets the security and stability of the governorate, tampering with its social fabric and damaging its behavioral balance saturated with the civilization, the urbanization culture which became a title of Taiz and a deep-rooted behavior in its rural and urban area.

Islah condemns this murder and calls upon the official authority and all the various security services to track down the murderers and to identify the criminals behind this criminal incident and bring them before a just judiciary and then apply strict judicial statements against those criminal murderous to be a lesson for anyone may tamper with the security and stability of Taiz through the implementation of agendas that target peace, stability and development.

Also political parties, organizations, human rights organizations, civil society organizations, political and media activists, independents and youth components must condemn this crime and stand behind it in various legal ways and protect the society from these barbaric aims directed at our cultural heritage and aspiring future for a decent life and a future of justice and freedom, Which requires joint efforts with the local authority represented by Dr. Amin Ahmed Mahmoud and the leadership of the police and all the concerned authorities.
