A court under the control of the Houthi coup militia issued orders to execute the colonel in the Yemeni armed forces, Abdul Majeed Abdul Hamid Muhammad Allous, after nearly 5 years of abducting and torture.

In his post on his Facebook account, lawyer Abdul Majeed Sabra, said that the Appellate Division subject to the militias supported the preliminary ruling, whose operative verdict condemned Colonel Abdul Majeed Abdul Hamid Muhammad Allous on charges of collaborating with a foreign state attributed to him in the indictment, and punishing the convict, Abdul Majeed Abdul Hamid Muhammad Allous, for death as a discipline.

Colonel Allous is one of the Old Sanaa Directorate's sons and is a colonel in the armed forces. He invented the security protection system in the Ministry of Defense in 2010. Prior to his arrest, he was the head of the Division of Inventions and Innovations in the Center for Strategic Studies of the Armed Forces of the Ministry of Defense. Allous was subjected to enforced disappearance and severe torture, and his relatives were not allowed to visit him until three months after his arrest, and they saw burns and bruises on his body.

Lawyer Sabra said that on the date of 4/5/2016 the abducted was investigated by the Public Prosecution and when the prosecution asked him about his written confessions, he said that these confessions were extracted as a result of violent and inhuman beating to which he was subjected to, and he denied these words altogether and said that they used violence, torture and unethical and inhumane words and that they doubted in his patriotism."

Sabra explained that Colonel Allous’s state of health is very poor, as he suffered a clot and internal bleeding in the brain inside the detention center, and he suffers mainly from pressure and diabetes, and his poor condition was compounded as a result of enforced disappearance and violent torture he subjected to.

Pointing out that the Public Prosecution and the court did not work to prove the effects of torture on his body despite Allous's request to do so, but the court decided to present the accused to a forensic doctor and issued a memorandum of that and sent it to the Public Prosecutor's Office. However, the former Political Security Agency, which is Security and Intelligence Services at present, did not allow the forensic doctor to enter the prison in order to conduct a medical examination of the accused, pointing out that his relatives saw the effects of burns and bruises on his body when they were allowed to visit him three months after his disappearance.
