Head of the Information and Culture Department of the Yemeni Islah Party, Ali Al-Jaradi, said that "There is a tendency from some international and regional powers to dislodge President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi from the Yemeni scene and replace him with any other consensual formula."

In a tweet on his Twitter account, al-Jaradi added, "The president is not targeted as a person, but his legitimacy stipulated by an international resolution is what is wanted to be removed."

Al-Jaradi pointed out that this international and regional trend seeks to draw a new map away from the legitimacy of the Federal Republic of Yemen, according to new geographical and sectarian divisions.
