The head of the Political Department of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Saeed Shamsan, stressed that the Storm of the al-Hazm curbed the Houthi coup and frustrated Iran's efforts to turn Yemen into a follower of its destructive project.

In a special statement to AlIslah Net website, on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the launch of the al-Hazm Storm on March 26, 2015, Shamsan recalled what Yemen had reached as a result of the coup of the Houthi militia, which tried to turn the wheel of history back and sought to restore the Imami racial regime.

Shamsan pointed out that the Storm of the al-Hazm was an imperative necessity imposed by the Houthi militias and those behind them, just as the war was neither the choice of the Yemeni people nor its legitimate government, but rather the ambitions of the Houthi militia and the Iranian regime.

He added: "The war was imposed by the Houthi militia through its coup against the state, its invasion of the country's capital, its control of the civil and military institutions of the state, and its coup against the outcomes of the National Dialogue, which the Yemenis with all their political and social directions agreed upon.

The head of the Political Department of the Islah Party indicated that the interference of the brothers in the Arab Alliance led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia came in response to the call of the legitimate leadership to save Yemen from the militia and its crimes against the Yemenis.

He drew attention to the brutal Houthi practices against the Yemenis, especially those opposed to the Iranian Houthi project, which necessitated the intervention of brothers in the Arab Alliance after Yemen turned into a large prison and state institutions fell into the hands of racist gangs that excluded the people and made them followers and sought to impose their thoughts and their project intruder by force of arms.

Shamsan praised the great role of the Alliance led by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, their support for Yemen and its people in its government in various fields, the restoration of hope for the restoration of the Yemeni state, and the elimination of the coup that had become a matter of time, stressing that liberating Yemen from the coupists is an irreversible option.

He stressed that the Yemeni people and their political forces, and under the leadership of the legitimacy, are determined to continue the struggle until the state is restored and the return of the displaced to their homes, appreciating the efforts made and the enormous sacrifices in order to nullify the Iranian tools that spread chaos and destruction.

He added: "The coup is the most grievous disasters that have befallen Yemen over the past years, and it has become a crime in the eyes of the international community and the solution is to bring down this coup, whether through the political process or the military option."

He called on all components of the Yemeni people and their political and social forces to unite in order to achieve the ultimate goal for which the al-Hazm Storm was launched, and for Yemen to return with its entire soil to its Arab surroundings.

The head of the Political Department of the Islah Party saluted the heroes of the army and the members of popular resistance all over Yemen, who presented immortal heroic epics for the dignity of the Yemeni people and the end of their suffering, as well as pleaded with God to have mercy on the righteous martyrs who gave their blood to overthrow the priesthood and that the Yemenis live freely, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded, and freedom for the abductees and the prisoners.
