Hodeidah Governor, Hassan al-Tahir revealed that the Houthi coup militia evacuated a large number of Iranian experts from the city of Hodeidah, west of Yemen, after the killing of the commander of the Quds Force in Iranian Revolutionary Guards Qassem Soleimani.

Al-Tahir stressed that the intelligence services in Yemen monitored the evacuation of a number of Iranian experts from the city of Hodeidah to neighboring regions, after announcing the killing of Soleimani, and also monitored all military moves by the militia inside the city, of which deploying hundreds of foreign fighters to various locations in the city.

He pointed out that the coup militias had pushed fighters of foreign nationalities to Hodeidah governorate during the past two days, explaining that they had repositioned their fighters there with the deployment of more snipers on the roofs of vital buildings and strengthened their military capabilities by introducing large quantities of medium and heavy weapons to Hodeidah.

He described the militia’s actions on the ground as a declaration of war, stressing that these movements frustrate all efforts to complete the peace process and implement the provisions of the Stockholm Agreement, stressing that the Yemeni government has put all options to respond quickly and strongly to the militias.
