217 civilians have been killed and more than 2,000 injured in Houthi breaches in Hodeidah governorate (western Yemen) since the UN-supervised truce was announced in December 2018, following the Stockholm Agreement between the legitimate government and Houthi militias.

The report issued by government forces in the West Coast stated that "217 civilians were killed and 2,152, mostly women and children, were injured following violations committed by Houthi militias in the West Coast a year ago from the ceasefire announcement."

Houthi militias committed violations during the past year in each of the following areas (Al-Tahita, al-Jabaliyah, al-Hayma, al-Matina, Hays, al-Khokha, al-Ghuwayriq, al-Maghras, al-Jah, al-Durahemi, al-Taif, al-Hawk, al-Hali, Manzar, al-Masna) all in al-Hudaydah governorate.

The report pointed out that "the militias resorted to direct targeting of citizens and the planting of regular and indiscriminate minefields and improvised explosive devices on public and branch roads and citizens' farms, which led to deaths and injuries in various Directorates of Hodeidah."

The report pointed out that "from the first moments of the entry into force of the United Nations truce to this day, where the Houthi militias targeted and bombarded cities and residential neighborhoods and homes of citizens in Hodeidah using various artillery shells and medium and heavy weapons."

"A year from the sterile UN truce, during which the suffering of the sons of Hodeidah increased, could not protect them from oppression and criminality of Houthi militias," it said.
