The trade of Houthi militias in drugs... enrichment for the killers and destruction for Yemenis

الثلاثاء 18 يونيو-حزيران 2019 الساعة 06 مساءً / Al-Islah.net - Exclusive

The Iranian Houthi militias do not stop of using all the illegal means to finance their wars against Yemenis, starting from looting and confiscating public funds for themselves, the looting of the Yemeni people, their merchants and businessmen, as well as trading in forbidden items.

It is no longer new to seize quantities of narcotics on its way to areas under the control of the Houthi militias, and it is no longer a secret that these militias are engaged in the drug trade and promotion, and consider it an important source of funding.

The drug trade in Yemen was rebounded under the direct supervision of senior leaders in the Iran-funded Houthi group, after the Houthi group, which got out from the caves of Marran, transferred the drug trade experience from the Lebanese Hezbollah, which relied heavily on the drug trade and promotion like any arms of Iran in the Arab Region.

Because the national army and the security services are well aware of the Houthi militias' diversion towards the drug trade to finance their war against the Yemeni people and the destruction of Yemen's youth, they have worked diligently to control dozens of shipments of narcotics belonging to the Houthi militias. They have arrested smugglers working for militias during the three past years, and declared it in front of domestic and international public opinion.
