The General Secretariat of the Yemeni Islah Party discussed the barbaric practices carried out by the Houthi militias, which represented in threatening the family of a member of the Supreme Authority of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Muhammad Qahtan, who has been forcibly hidden in the prisons of the Houthi militias for four years ago, and their threat on Tuesday to his family and giving them three days to leave the house to be controlled, otherwise they will storm it by force.

While we were waiting for the release of the leader and politician Muhammad Qahtan with all the abductees within a few days as agreed in the agreement of Sweden, but we were surprised by the escalation by the militias and the insistence on committing crimes and violations not only against the civilian abductees but against their families in a flagrant challenge to the International efforts aimed at stop the war and its continued insistence on disrupting the paths of political solution.

The actions of the Houthi militia confirm the disregard of international resolutions and the efforts of the United Nations and its envoy, Mr. Martin Griffiths, as well as a provocation to the Yemeni people, who are subjected to torture by the militias of the coup through the practices of the militias that violated religions, customs and international and humanitarian law.

While we strongly condemn this barbaric attack against the family of the man of politics and dialogue the abducted, Mr. Muhammad Qahtan, we call on the United Nations and its envoy to Yemen to take the appropriate stance against the actions of the Houthi militias and to stop these measures, which are a flagrant challenge to international legitimacy and the resolutions of the international community, and the violations taken by the militia to bury the agreement of Sweden, and that the United Nations to assume its responsibility for what the coup militias acts.

We also call on international organizations and the Human Rights Council to condemn the Houthi coup militia and to stand firmly against its crimes and to quickly complete the file of the exchange of prisoners and abductees, protect them and their families from the barbarism of the militia and the release of the struggler Muhammad Qahtan.
