This came in an interview done with the Chinese news agency "Xinhua" recently after his participating in the dialogue conference between political parties in China and Arab countries in Hangzhou, east China.

Al-Anisi stressed the necessity of continuing this relationship and finding more mechanisms for continuous communication and cooperation in various fields, including political, economic and cultural fields, which will strengthen the relations between China and the Arab countries on the one hand and exchanges between the Communist Party of China and Arab parties on the other.

On the situation in Yemen and the new consultations between the warring Yemeni parties later in Sweden, al-Ansi praised China's position on solving the Yemeni problem through dialogue, which he described as the best way now.

He said that China's position has been and remains firm and strong on the Yemeni issue. It supports the peaceful solution. It stands against interfering in the internal affairs of Yemen and sees the need to rely on national resolutions and relevant UN resolutions, foremost of which is Resolution No. 2216, and he added by saying "At the same time, China has maintained its supporting to Yemen in its humanitarian crisis."

The Secretary-General of the Yemeni Islah Party expressed confidence that China would continue to play its humanitarian role to help the Yemenis.

He praised China's relentless efforts to cooperate with other countries after the 2013 Belt and Road Initiative proposal.

Al-Anisi expressed appreciation for the development witnessed by China in the past 40 years since the launch of the reform and opening-up policy.

"The path of reform and opening up has remarkable results. China is now in a high position both in economy and politics. The fruits for this development is due to the policy that began in 1979, especially the intellectual aspect," considering it "The most important aspect of the reform and opening-up process," he said.

Al-Anisi stressed that the Yemeni-Chinese relations are gaining a historical dimension and the partnership between the two sides is deeply rooted in history, referring to the role of Aden Port in receiving the largest commercial fleet coming from China and its important location on the Silk Road that links between the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea.

Al-Anisi estimated the China's support for development in Yemen since the establishment of diplomatic relations in modern times, saying: "Since the beginning of the September 26, revolution, China has been present to this day in various fields of development."

He cited the Sanaa-Hodeidah road, completed by China in 1962, saying that a number of Chinese workers died during the completion of the project. The Yemeni people will never forget the sacrifices of these Chinese friends and their achievement of this important project.
