Head of the Information and Culture Department of the Yemeni Islah Party, Mr. Ali al-Jaradi, said that a just and comprehensive peace in accordance with international resolutions, the outputs the National Dialogue Conference and the of the Gulf Initiative are the only references that make sustainability and stability.

In his subscription on Facebook, al-Jaradi stressed that "any partial agreements in a limited geography are false and fragile agreements."

He added that "this agreement falls within the military tactics followed by the coup to get a rest and re-localizing."

The UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffith, had said that it was agreed with the Houthi militias on the mechanism of the United Nations contribution to maintaining peace in the city of Hodeidah.

The agreement, according to Griffith, allows UN supervision of the port of Hodeidah, protecting it from potential destruction and preserving basic humanitarian aid line for Yemeni people.

For his part, Minister of Information, Mr. Muammar Al-Iryani, said that no formula could be accepted for the management of the port, if it does not guarantee its return to the legitimate authority, and this applies to the survival of the pro-Iran Houthi militia in the city. On more than one occasion, peace has been emphasized on the basis of the three references.

"We welcome any steps or efforts made by the UN envoy to persuade the Iran-backed Houthi militia to withdraw from Hodeidah and its sea port and hand them over to the legitimate authority, as stipulated in international resolutions, foremost of which is resolution 2216," he added.
