Two female children were killed and injury of two girls this evening by a shell fired by the Houthi targeting a residential neighborhood east of the city of Marib.

The residents of the Azziraa neighborhood, east of the airport in the city of Marb, said: "A shell was fired by the militia of Houthi fell on a residential neighborhood led to the death of two female children and the injury of two girls while they were playing today afternoon 11/8/2018 in the courtyard of the house of Muhammed Yahya al-Shami in the neighborhood of Azziraa - east of the airport in the city of Marib with other children of the neighborhood."

The two children, Mariam Ahmed Ibrahim al-Khudari, two years old and Fathiya Hassan Ali al-Raimi, 8 years old, died shortly after the shell fell. The other two girls, Salwa Ahmad Ibrahim al-Khudari, 11 years old, and Awali Hassan Ali Ahmed al-Rimi, 11 years old, were seriously injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Residents pointed out that there were damages to the house and nearby houses caused by the fired shell.

It is worth mentioning here that from time to time the Houthi militia targets residential neighborhoods in the city of Marib.
