An Islah Party leader calls for opening the file of assassinations in Aden and the formation of a joint investigation committee

The deputy head of the Information Department of the Yemeni Islah party, Adnan al-Audaini, called for the formation of a joint committee to investigate the assassinations, which have increased frighteningly in the interim capital of Aden.

"It is time to form a joint investigation committee consists of government agencies and the Arab Coalition to open files of assassinations that have taken place since the liberation of the city until now," he said.

"The committee must be formed of elements with a clean record and not involved in practices of violations against human rights and believe at the same time in the idea of law and authority."

Al-Audaini explained that terrorism is encircling Aden, targeting its civil and political face and tracking all those who had a role in confronting the Houthis and protecting Aden from the attack by the Houthi militias.

Al-Audaini noted that "terrorism strikes the depth of Aden and moves in it as if it were the ruler. This act is met with the suspicious silence of the security services and the leadership of the legitimacy. All those, who are killing now, were sided with the legitimacy when it had subjected to great disappointment."

"The fight against terrorism is a national battle no less than the battle of the coup; terrorism kills people with the same savagery of the coup and everyone should confront it."
