“The port of Hodeidah has been used as a waterway to support the Houthi militias that are killing Yemenis,” said Adnan al-Audaini, deputy head of the Information and Culture Department in the Yemeni Islah Party.
Al-Audaini explained that the Houthi militias are now using Hodeidah residents as human shields.
“The liberation of Hodeidah is a national and humanitarian necessity,” he said in a series of tweets on Wednesday.
“Al-Hudaydah was a lifeline for the coup and the outlet from which humanitarian aid flowed into the hands of the militias,” he said.
“The liberation of Hodeidah is the salvation of millions of those deprived of food and medicine after the control of the Houthis.”
On Wednesday, a military operation called (The Golden Victory) with the support of the Arab Alliance began to liberate the city of Hodeidah from the Houthi militias, and the National Army forces are making rapid progress on the battlefield.
