The Yemeni Islah Party welcomed the decision of the International Court of Justice ICJ regarding the case filed by the Republic of South Africa against Zionist occupation government.
In a tweet posted on his account on the (x) platform, Mr. Adnan al-Audayni, spokesman for the Islah Party and deputy head of the Information and Culture Department, expressed the Party’s welcome of the decision that established the court’s initial jurisdiction in the case of Israel committing genocide crimes in its barbaric aggression against the Palestinian people in The Gaza Strip, and then directing an order to Israel to take immediate and temporary measures pending the case is decided, with the aim of providing protection for the Palestinians by ceasing to practice any actions or words aimed at the genocide of the Palestinian people besieged in the Gaza Strip.
He pointed out that this historic preliminary decision issued today wins a victory the principles of humanity above all else, and also lays the foundation for the upcoming decisions that hold Israel accountable for the crimes of genocide it commits in Gaza.
Al-Audayini stressed that stopping the brutal attacks launched by Israel on the Gaza Strip is the only way to protect the Palestinian people from the crimes of genocide that Israel continues to commit.
He urged to move forward with the procedures for pleading before the court in order to reach the moment when the criminality and unprecedented brutality of the Israeli occupation is curbed, which has so far led to the killing of more than 26 thousand Palestinians, two-thirds of whom are women and children.
The Yemeni Islah Party appreciated the position of the Republic of South Africa, expressing its appreciation for its efforts and its move to file the lawsuit that resulted in this decision today.
It called on the international community to put pressure on the leaders of the Israeli occupation to implement this decision.
He stressed the need to continue efforts to reach the day when the Israeli occupation will be held accountable for all its systematized violations of international and humanitarian laws.
