On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, the Yemeni Islah Party in Al-Mahra Governorate held a meeting of exchange felicitations on that occasion for its members and supporters residing in the Al-Ghaydah Directorate.

In the meeting, which was attended by a large number of leaders, members, and supporters of the Yemeni Islah Party, the Secretary General of the Executive Office of the Al-Mahra Islah Party, Abdullah Nuwayjaa, congratulated those attendees on this annual religious occasion, pointing out that it is an opportunity to enhance communication and deepen fraternal relations.

Also, Nuwayjaa renewed his call to the international community and organizations working in the field of human rights to exert more pressure on the Houthi militia to release the remaining prisoners and abductees of various political components, headed by Mr. Muhammad Qahtan and all his comrades and the Yemeni people, as well as ending the coup and strengthening the effectiveness of state institutions.

He pointed out that the Islah Party in the Governorate provides all channels to communicate with everyone without exception in a manner commensurate with the requirements of the current stage in which it is necessary to gather the word and unite the ranks, calling at the same time on the members of the Islah Party in the Governorate to always be at the forefront of the ranks as well as supporting the efforts made by public institutions, whether civil, military or security.

He pointed out that strengthening relations with the local authority and all political partners is a priority for Islahi's work, adding that community cohesion and giving priority to the public interest of the Governorate made it appear safe and stable thanks to the efforts made by the Governor of the Governorate, Muhammad Ali Yasser, the security and military agencies, and political and community figures in consolidating the pillars of security and stability in the Governorate.

Nuwayjaa praised the efforts made by the leadership of the local authority and its security and military apparatus in combating negative phenomena that are alien to the Mahra community, stressing that the leaders and members of the Islah Party in the Governorate support these efforts aimed at drying up the sources of these phenomena that breach social peace.

For his part, Dr. Awad al-Affari, Head of the Guidance Department in the Executive Office of the Al-Mahrah Islah Party, said during a speech he delivered at the meeting that the Islah Party is keen on qualifying individuals to be successful models in society religiously, morally and culturally, calling on everyone to expand the circle of public affiliation to the Islah Party, provide it with new members and introduce everyone to the goals and visions of Islah's work.

The meeting included a number of activities, the cultural competitions, the distribution of in-kind prizes, and the creation of an atmosphere of competition among the crowds of participants, as well as the exchange of felicitations with the leadership of the Executive Office in the Governorate on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
