Al-Haidari has been kidnapped by Al-Houthi's militia in the mid of July 2016 from his home in Al-Hawban area. Al-Haidari was imprisoned in the residential city of al-Saleh and subjected to torture. He was then transferred from al-Saleh prison to the Community College prison in Dhamar governorate.

Al-Haidari, a 43-year-old, is one of the Yemeni Islah Party leaders in Taiz who remained in the areas controlled by the militia. He did not expect he would be kidnaped and imprisoned, although he did not practice politics.

Al-Haidari died last Tuesday after being severely tortured in the jails of the coup militia three days after he was taken to a hospital in Dhamar governorate.

Al-Haidari descends from Afiosh area, which is administratively affiliated to Ibb governorate. He is married and has five children (Nada, Ahlam, Malak, Muhammad, and Omar). It is worth mentioning here that his mother died in grief on her son on March 7, 2017.

A relative of Sadiq told the Almawqeapost that his mother died of grief and depression on her son, and she wished to hear his voice but died before she knew anything about him and did not even hear his voice, pointing out that the coup Houthi militia kidnapped him from his house and took him to its prison in the city of al-Saleh. Al-Haidari was subjected to all means of torture and was then transferred to the Community College located in Dhamar, where the militia turned it into a terrifying prison and at the same time this prison considers a journey of terror and death against dozens of abductees.

The relative of Sadiq added that the militia had kidnapped him from his home after a night raid. At that time he was suffering from kidney disease and was hidden for almost a year without knowing anything about him during his arrest in the city of al-Saleh, then he was transferred to the Community College in Dhamar governorate. One day, we were surprised by a call from him and after that call, he continued to communicate with us at the end of each month by few words in order to send him the expenses and suddenly the connection is interrupted.

He added "A day after his kidnapping, the militia looted his car (TOYOTA Hilux DOUBLE CAB) and installed a machine gun on it and used it as a patrol to arrest people. After a while, the car turned over and it was said to have been completely destroyed."

"When we told Sadiq that his mother had died, he did not believe that and considered us liars, and due to the severity of the torture, he seemed to have suffered from poor memory, in addition to being psychologically ill," he said.

"Three days ago, we received news that he had been transferred to the intensive care room and that the doctors advised the Houthis to release him because his condition required that, but they refused the doctors' advice and last night they told us that he had died," he said.

"We received the news of his death with great shock, and his wife and children affected by psychic trauma while receiving the news of the death. We thought he would overcome his health crisis."

Activists circulated a picture of al-Haidari's children next to the body of their father in a sad scene, which reveals the ugliness and offense of the militia and its approach practiced in torturing the abductees.
