The Alliance of Political Forces (APF) supporting the legitimate authority in Taiz Governorate affirmed its full support for the decisions taken by the Governor's regarding the interest of Taiz and the supreme interest of its citizens.

This news came in a statement issued by the APF on Monday after the procedures for handing over the buildings of state institutions to the local authority.

The APF also stressed the need to restore all buildings, offices, and institutions of the State that located away from the locations of confrontations and required by the need for liberation and according to the discretion of the security committee headed by the governor.

In its statement, the APF called on all citizens of Taiz province to stand behind the local authority, in addition to support it and cooperate with it in all that would achieve Taiz's interest and get it out of the crises and difficulties that it faces, and also to give priority to Taiz's interest away from all narrow regional or partisan interests.

The Alliance of Political Forces (APF), that Support the legitimate authority in Taiz, is following with interest the developments of the military and security situation in Taiz and the efforts of the governor of the province D. Amin Ahmed Mahmoud, along with the military and security institution, and all political and social forces in the governorate at various levels since his arrival in the city of Taiz. The last of these efforts is the right decisions represented in extending the influence of the state over all the liberated areas in Taiz and restoring the buildings and headquarters of the military institutions and the local authority, starting from the eastern area and the rest of the buildings and headquarters in the governorate, and showing the prestige of the state and non-leniency with outlaws.

Although we appreciate the efforts made by the governor, the local authority, and the national army, we would like to emphasize the following:

1. Our full support for the decisions taken by the Governor's regarding the interest of Taiz and the supreme interest of its citizens.

2. The need to restore all buildings, offices, and institutions of the State that located away from the locations of confrontations and required by the need for liberation and according to the discretion of the security committee headed by the governor.

3. Re-positioning the national army brigades and units located in the center of the city, and the transfer of these brigades and units to locations through which to follow up the confrontations with the Houthi coup forces, and the delivery of buildings and sites to the military police and Special Forces.

4. Appealing our legitimate government represented by the President of the Republic, Marshal Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, Prime Minister and our brothers of the Arab Coalition for supporting the Legitimacy, to provide full support to the local authority, the national army and the security apparatus in Taiz governorate, extending the influence of the state, establishing security and stability in the country, as well as to play its role in the pursuit of extremist outlaw groups that affected the city of Taiz, infrastructure, security, and safety of its people.

5. We call on all citizens of Taiz province to stand behind the local authority, in addition, to support it and cooperate with it in all that would achieve Taiz's interest and get it out of the crises and difficulties that it faces, and also to give priority to Taiz's interest away from all narrow regional or partisan interests.
