2. Amputation (544).

3. Eyes (628).

4. Serious / Multiple (364).

5. Total / (1762).

These high rates of injuries in one city reflect the level of violent attack by the Houthi coup forces and the Republican Guard's units on the city.

The remnants of the mines in Taiz

In view of the size of the mines planted in the city and the official statements on this matter, confirms the magnitude of the suffering. In its statement published on April 4, 2018, the Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) confirmed that Houthi group, since its coup on September 21 2014, has planted one million mines in the governorates and among the civilian population, in Taiz alone were 200,000 mines. The number of mine-related injuries reached 1,800 murdered and wounded, most of them resulting in permanent disabilities, some of them in children and women.

Health Sector in Taiz

The crisis of the wounded in the city has doubled due to the general health condition of the city. This sector has witnessed a deterioration in services since 2012. This crisis was exacerbated by the siege imposed on the city in 2015 which lasted in general for one and a half year.

In July 9, 2012, the Health and Population Office in Taiz announced that the health situation in the city was deteriorating, and that it was not in the best condition, and that it was almost completely unable to meet the needs of the population, starting with current health services, which cover only 60%.

The health situation in Taiz is not as good as it has been for many decades. The governorate is the first one in terms of the size of the population. According to the census results for 2004, the population was 2.393.425 and the population grows by 2.47% annually. Where 12.16% of the total population of the Republic, according to field estimates, the population census in the meantime doubled, up to 5 million at best.

This rapid growth reflected negatively on the health situation and the level of services, which was not optimal, because of the level of marginalization and absenteeism over the rule of the former regime of the governorate, and therefore the first problem which appeared was the health situation, due to a number of objective reasons for that deterioration we cannot mention it here.

The problem did not limited to access to medicine and the large shortage of medical personnel in the city because of the expansion of the war and the direct targeting of hospitals and health facilities was deliberate, and the arrival of medicine and medical convoys was another cause of suffering. The siege imposed on the city directly contributed to the deterioration of the health situation within the city.

Hospitals have been struggling to survive and provide minimal health services, in late December 2017, Al-Thawra Hospital in Taiz was declared closed because of poor conditions after the closure of 95% of the health facilities due to the lack of financial support and the confiscation of the operating budget by Houthis.

In its statement on the closure, the hospital said that because of the lack of solutions, medicines, surgical instruments, operations and oxygen, making the largest state hospitals reach a tragic end, and complicates the health situation in the city.

This general situation of the city in the deteriorating health sector has been directly reflected on citizens in general and on the wounded and the visitors of these centers in particular, which will make the suffering reach record levels.

The wounded of the Resistance in Marib

The wounded of the Resistance and the National Army in the rest of the governorate were not better off, although they did not reach the status of the wounded in Taiz, because of the siege imposed on the city for years, and the size of the targeting that the city suffered more than others.

The suffering of the wounded in the governorate of Marib increased for many reasons, that there are a number of fronts inside it and nearby, making it the only safe place they come to. The governorate of al-Jawf, al-Baydha, Nahm and even from other governorate in the north and south, and also the health situation in the governorate was not ready for these situations. It is true that it is constantly evolving but is still limited, and the size of the wounded has always been beyond the capacity of the health sector in the city, which is all newly established and lacks many of the possibilities that makes it in the size of the challenges at this stage in particular.

The same thing happened in the wounded of the city of Aden in 2015. They carried out a protest in the city of Buraika in September 2017 and raised several demands and appealed to the government to complete their treatment, pay their dues and numbering them militarily, and on other fronts as in the area of Midi the condition was very bad, their wounds were septic, and that area was the focus of the depletion of the resistance and the national army, and hundreds of people fell, and its wounded still in endless suffering.

On February 24, 2018, the number of wounded from the resistance and the national army who were injured during the battles to defend the Saudi border in the Midi desert and Harad districts, where they held an open sit-in in the eastern city of Marib to protest the humiliation they were subjected to through dismissing them from hospitals and refusing to give them medicines and dues.

At the same time, one of the wounded lifted a banner reading "Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness?" to ask the Arab Alliance and legitimate authority to pay attention to them and to complete their treatment.

Conclusion

1. The wounded need urgently to rearrange their general status by the legitimate authority and.

2. This arrangement starts through establishing a Ministry concerned the martyrs and the wounded, and works to solve all problems.

3. Rehabilitation of the collapsed health sector inside the country, and rearrange the situation of the army and the resistance on the fronts through the support of field hospitals, so that the suffering and complications of the army and resistance are trapped.
